We are open 6 days a week and aim to provide immediate appointments for urgent conditions and offer out of working hours treatment to accommodate patients' busy lifestyles.

If you are unsure whether physio is appropriate for your problem please speak to our reception staff who will arrange for one of the physios to call you to discuss your situation with you.

To make appointments at either our Greenhill or Mosborough clinics or for any enquiries please call 0114 237 3006.

Your First Appointment:

The first time you attend The Physio Clinic your physio will complete a 45 minute assessment. This will involve a series of questions plus a physical examination. Special tests may be undertaken as well such as examination of range of movement, muscle strength etc. At the end of this process your physio will make a diagnosis and explain this to you. They will also discuss with you the proposed treatment plan and give you an indication of the number of treatments which may be required. You will receive a full treatment as part of this first appointment.

Your follow up appointments:

If follow up appointments are required these will last for 30 minutes and involve a reassessment of your condition followed by treatment.

What should I wear?

If you have a shoulder or neck problem you may wish to wear a vest top so your physio can examine the area more easily. If you have a lower back or leg condition wearing shorts might be useful.

The utmost levels of patient privacy will be observed at all times.

If you would prefer to be treated specifically by a male or female therapist please request this when making your appointment.

Accompanying of patients

You are welcome to bring a chaperone, especially if this would help with explaining the history of your problem. We request that all children under the age of 16 are accompanied by an appropriate adult.
